Synopsis:A simple but forgotten truth: Where harbingers of death appear, the morgues will soon be full.

Angie Dovage can tell there’s more to Reece Fernandez than just the tall, brooding athlete who has her classmates swooning, but she can’t imagine his presence signals a tragedy that will devastate her small town. When something supernatural tries to attack her, Angie is thrown into a battle between good and evil she never saw coming. Right in the center of it is Reece—and he’s not human.

What’s more, she knows something most don’t. That the secrets her town holds could kill them all. But that’s only half as dangerous as falling in love with a harbinger of death.

My review: It’s okay, weird but okay. Don’t really have much to say about it, am not really attached to it. It didn’t give me any feels but it wasn’t  a bad read. Well written, good characterization, kind of a little vague on the world building; at least the supernatural aspect of it or maybe that’s me but it seems some things was kind of left hanging?. And the relationship was nothing special or new but no love triangle, it would have killed the story and if there’s something I like more about the story it’s the friendship between Deno, Lacey and Angie. All in all it was well written just nothing overly special except the crows part, it was really …….emmm……weird? I don’t know. I recommend the book but don’t go into it expecting to be wowed. Will definitely read anything else from this author but not captivated enough to check up on whether she has previous stuffs.

Am reading the An enchantment of Ravens next because of the raven in the title and book cover which might probably have no bearing on the story, guess something did stick with me from this book unh?.
